Thank you Dimitra for this nice poem by Constanitine Cavafy. He is one of the best Greek poets and writers. I like him very much but I had not the opportunity to have his poems or book collections.

Thank you dfor the comment. This is Global heritage. The poem is written by an unknown Poet, but tells us so much.

I am glad I found it and I ought to share with my friends. I wrote somewhere and you can see it at my Picture.
"Life is a dream to work on".

What would life be without good friends to share the beauty of this world and its "beings".

Thank you Georgios, for posting the entire poem.  I have received several of those in emails with part of the poem and other things attached.  It is beautiful and I am sorry for "Author Unknown".  A poet should be recognized for their beautiful works.
