Thank you for your kind words. This poem was indeed inspired by a sight I saw while awaiting my childrens return from school. Inspiration comes from the strangest places and experiences. I have been told that it is the best thing to write music and poetry this way.

Indeed, the sight was something to be seen. As I watched while waiting for my kids, there were some 29 or 30 coming in and making their way accrost the road into the desert behind headed towards the mountains. I am glad that I portrayed the experience in a way that gave you the sights of it.

I have written a few songs in my lifetime, but nothing that I have ever given another to perform for me. I had one that I did perform, but it was at my sons christening. Thank you for all of your encoragement.
