Greetings All
Well,,, our little friend is having to undergo yet more painful treatments and proceedures. She has been through so much it is hard to imagine how she tolerates it all.. The whole family has endured more than any family should ever have to endure. Their faith remains unchallenged. through it all, their love for each other has grown stronger. Please put an extra effort into your prayers now so that this little girl can continue to find the strength to go on. Pray for her comfort and that she feels no more pain. She has been through just an unbelievable amount of pain already. Please get your friends and family to send their prayers and healing light as well..
Here is an interesting article on the effects of prayer. An exerpt from the article and the link to the rest of the story. You may find this quite interesting
The results of the study are not surprising to those of us who believe in the power of prayer. The patients who had received prayer as a part of the study were healthier than those who had not. The prayed for group had less need of having CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) performed and less need for the use of mechanical ventilators. They had a diminished necessity for diuretics and antibiotics, less occurrences of pulmonary edema, and fewer deaths. Taking all factors into consideration, these results can only be attributed to the power of prayer.

I want to receive Journal update notification e-mails.
We will be heading to NYC Sunday. Elizabeth will start 3F8 on Monday. So far she has done pretty good with the GMCSF shots. She has to get poked every day for 10 days surrounding this treatment...she is so brave.
Today she is feeling very tired. We are not sure if fatigue is a side effect from the GMCSF, or if she is just tired?
My friend Tommy, who updated the journal for me last time, cut off about 2 ft of his hair and I "think" he gave it to locks of love! What a great thing to do.
The kids start school in about a week. We are having a problem with the school district wanting to send Chris to a different high school because of a re-districting issue. He has already been practicing with the football team, got his position, uniform the whole 9...now they want to send him to a different school that does not even have a JV football team. We are working hard right now to get them to make an ecxeption in his case...he has been through enough without being made to go to a new school away from his friends and team mates.
We are praying that Elizabeth tolerates the new treatment. It is very difficult...and hard to make a child understand why they must endure such painful treatments for so long...but that is another update I guess?
Thanks for all of the prayers, love and support!
