	It was antisemitistic motives behind that law.He was effected by the antisemitistic expressions that some forefathers had made against the jews such as they were sons of satan and other horrible expressions. He decided to make the sunday as the sabbath day instead, because of worship to a sungod. One of the Ten Commandments is to keep the sabbath.

I realize this topic will not get resolved here because it's been going on for how long - and by people a lot smarter than you or I?
