Hi all,
I've found four ingredients to improve my experience with traffic exchanges:
1. Use a splash page! People who are surfing aren't interested in reading an entire site - they want to click and go quickly. Splash pages will allow the surfer to enter their basic info and then be able to look at your offer at their leisure.
2. Your splash page should send the surfer's info directly to an
autoresponder. Less work for you and the surfer gets near-immediate responses from you, making you look professional.
3. Spread your credits out so that your site is seen every day. If you are manually surfing, it's better to surf 100 pages per day EVERY DAY than surf 1000 pages once a week.
4. Use a rotator if the traffic exchange allows it. All your sites get seen an equal amount of time, you only enter one URL into the traffic exchange, and you can
change which URL's are in the rotator whenever you want. I personally use
PageSwirl with good results.
Happy Surfing!
