Hi Sam!

I have to say that these forums get better every time.  I really do want to know how you do it!!  Awesome, my friedn, simply awesome.

Pauline,

What a beautiful introduction.  You are so forthright in your introduction, and friend, I am praying for you, as you are ailing and know that God will bring you the healing you need and deserve.

Luella,

This topic you have chosen for your article is one that only yesterday, I wrote about.  Remember the old cliche "forgive and forget"?  My words today are forgive and let it go.

Things come back and raise their ugly heads.  It's an art to get to the point that we cans just let that head raise up and realize that dwelling is not the answer.  And practice at this we must until the art is perfected.  All was forgiven - and STILL IS - move on with gratitude.  Move forward with confidence.  We are indeed all connected, which you pointed out so well, and Judy picked out in her wonderful review.

For me one of the hardest people to forgive was myself, and again through time know that if God can forgive me, then certainly I can too!

Well done, my friend.  I am looking forward to the posts in this forum and a conversation to win over all.  There are not many among us who cannot identify with you in this article.  I know I surely did!!

Blessings Luella, Pauiline, Sammy and Judy!!

Judy

Thank you and blessings to you Sam and all the team,

Luella,

A great and well constructed piece. Your humanity shows through in a blaze of love giving light. You have a wonderful gift wih words.

At the cost of repeating myself I have to say once again that forgiveness is my greatest gift from God. Although I frequently work with clients who have problems forgiving I cannot fully understand. I know how to pass on the information and techniques needed but cannot 'get inside their shoes' you might say.

There are few in this world that I dislike, those I do I try to understand.

There are few who have harmed me enough for me to waste my time and health upon seeking revenge. Don't get me wrong, there is a place for punishment but it should not be used as retribution.

Why do I forgive so easily? I don't know? As I said, it must be a God given gift.

Am I a saint? Certainly not. I have done horrible things in my life of which I'm not proud, but I do forgive myself.

I'm forgiving myself now as, with various computer and business problems I had vowed not to post for a week BUT you have just pressed my HOT BUTTON.

Forgiveness is the single most health giving word on this planet because without it we are all doomed to a constant war of hate and retalliation.

Start with yourself and find another to forgive. Just try to understand, it really isn't hard.

Love to you all. Roger

Hello my friend Neil,

Your response to Luella's hearty presentation is most revealing and incisive. That you have seen it, experienced it, overcome it and now passing it on makes you a living testimony and a worthy example.

"The road to Inner Peace begins with forgiveness, and the Road to World Peace begins with understanding and accepting  of our many cultural differences and THEN forgiveness on a world scale could follow"

You couldn't have made a better point than this dear friend, I totally agree with you and this is what the World need more than anything else: forgiveness!!

And Sharon, thanks for showing up and setting your view of our current feature. Dimitra and dear Branka, your posts are as interesting as they are thoughtful.

Judy, thanks for that usual support and positive participation.

Whow, Luella.
What a lovely presentation for a forum post.
The graphics, the pictures and the writings that you have posted are indeed very true and well said. Forgiveness is one thing that it takes often years to do as is accepting and moving on from heartache and marraige breakups etc.
The road to inner peace is very often a hard road to handle.
Once we can find out inner peace, then we can move on, learn, accept and grow.
thanks for the invite. Keith.
