Any runners in the house?
7/22/2007 2:23:17 PM

Is there anyone who loves jogging/running?  I run about 20 miles per week myself.  I was training for the Air Force 13.5 marathon in September, but I found out that I am diagnosed with fibroids.  I am scheduled to have surgery on 1 Aug.  This is getting in the way of my goals.

It would be my great pleasure if you post your ideas, experiences, guidance, and information about running.

Please do not post profanity, derogatory words, or adult content in my forum.

God bless,

Princess Ta

Hi there Curtis, I think you are doing great with your running.  You have to build yourself up.  I started off walking/running 1 mile.  Then I built myself up to two miles.  Then 3 miles.  Then 4 miles.  Now I can run up to 6 miles straight without stopping.  I don't worry about going fast, I just worry about finishing the whole run.

I found some good tips from www.active.com.  They also list good sports events in your local area.

Keep up the good work.

God bless,

Your friend,

shaunta
