Thanks William for your update.  I SOOO appreciate your logical explanations.  I have seen that HISTORY OF TAXATION before and always marvel .....how the government has so cleverly and craftly (like a fox) has increased our taxes!

I agree there is much waste and HALLIBURTON is a huge black hole. I wish the American people - and Congress would go after them and make them pay us back!!

Hi Amanda and Paula.  Thanks ladies for reading the article and for your comments in my forum.  I know it wasn't one my usual "light hearted" cutesie article but I thought it was interesting. My prayer is that Mr. Brown and his wife will not come to harm. I hope the government doesn't do anything rash towards them.

I am sure there are many of taxpayers that agree with the Browns. We don't hear about these stories.   Thanks again for your interest.    Pat
