Hi everyone,
Today I received an e-mail with pictures of oak trees that were destroyed in hurricane Katrina. I looked on the internet to find the original which I encourage you to visit for yourself.
What lessons do the might oak teach us? Never again will leaves sprout to make shade, acorns will not fall to feed the squirrels, no one can set up their fold-out chair under the arms of the mighty oak.

Something great has happened to enrich the lives of those that visit this spot. To plant another tree will mean many years of growth before it reaches the height to provide shade. It takes 20 years to produce acorns. An oak can use 50 gallons of water.

So what does the e-mail I received today teach you?
