Mary is the beginning of a new way of life in Afghanistan.  She is a great pioneer in her country.  Hopefully, with help from the free world, things will change.  Unfortunately, sometimes change is slow.  But one person tells another, who tells another, who tells two, four, six, and you know how that goes.

I always find it so amazing how G-d can use one willing person to change the lives of so many . We never know how much just a few words or a stand in times of troubles with all the odds against us can touch so many people. Mary Akrami should be an inspiration to us all; she truly is a great woman of courage. Thank you for sharing her story .
