Here are the qualifications that will be used in the selection of each honoree. People that are selected will be recognized based on:
1. Acts of kindness that they show to their fellow man.
2. Must be willing to help others, and treat people in a kindly manner.
3. Have a good-hearted nature, and shows it through all that they do.
4. Must be a positive role model, and set a good example
5. Must be professional, avoids negativity, and promotes success through faith and hard work
So, if you know of anyone here at AdlandPro that are not necessarily "high profile" people per say, and that don't get the recognition that they deserve, let us know. Hello All Adlandpro Member's, Thank You for the opportunity to be this week's Shining Star.
I was born in Flint Michigan, on Dec.21,1945. I went to school in Flint ,
I graduated in 1964. I was raised in the Community of Christ Church, it gave me a strong belief in God, I still have today. I went to work at A C Spark Plug Div. of G M also in 1964. I stayed 32yr..I became a member of U A W Local 651. I entered the U S M C in 1965, trained in Cal. went to Vietnam Nov. 1966-June 1968. Returning to AC.
I have been married to the love of my life ROSEMARY for 39 yr. we have 2 grown Sons, 5 Grandkids.
Other UAW Commitments, include Committeeman, Community service, National Screw Machine Council (Financial Secretary).
AC Commitments , 75Th. Anniversary Steering Committee, Plant 3 United Way Chairman, Biking For Burns, Share AND Care, CPR Instructor, First Aid INSTRUCTOR.
Community involvement includes, Richfield Township Planning Commission, VFW , Pres. Mt.Morris Jaycee's, Charter member of Davidson Eagles, Field Director of the National Campers And Hikers Ass. I also coached Jr Football (5Th 6TH 7Th gd) when my boys played. Ofcource there was cub scouts, Indian Guides, Church, Little League, snowmobiling, skiing downhill and cross country
