I thought my life was great until I got into an accident and ended up having three back operations, lost my job, and my wife divorced me and had to sell the house. Several years later I met a very special woman that put everything on the line to keep us financially afloat because I am on disability and I am happy to say that things are starting to get better and now it is my turn to show her how much I love and appreciate the hard times we have gone through! And the future we have to look forward too - God Bless his miracles!

 

Thank you for your post and very interesting story, Nick.  I am so sorry for the suffering that you had to go through but it really sounds as though you have learned some tough life lessons as a result of it.  Some very good things have come into your life as a result and I am so glad to hear that.  

You sound grateful for the happiness and love that you have found and I am sure you have really "started over".  God does not let suffering into our lives without a reason and I believe that you are just beginning to see result of God's blessings!!

I forgot to mention the most important change in my life was the finding of God and the gift of writing poems in his name! I have dedicated a website with the collection of poems that have been used by churches in the US and Canada which is quite the honour!

Wow, that is the best result of all, Nick.  So glad to hear that.  God is so good!

Why not post the URL of your website where you post your poems?  I am sure many would be interested.
