Footlights Grew Red
11/23/2006 10:32:39 AM

Footlights grew red, silken feet tread

wearily down Parkway Ave.

Tears streaming blood, a body worn at last

but is it defeat, of societies standards

while the flag still whips in the wind

off course, pointing South, then North, then East

then West, need a rest, troubled mind,

empty wallet, jagged feet tread

wearily down Rundown Ave.

Thank you so much for your response. This is but a weak example of what i normally write, so be prepared to be blown away in the near future. ;)
