Think on These Things
11/18/2006 7:56:24 PM

Think on these things

I wonder about how I know
From another time and place
Searching for something to show
That we continue on with grace.

Caught up in the moment of splendor
The joy does not contain
Inspiration from beyond and more
moving forward past the rain.

It becomes as  floating
Epiphany is at last found
The infinite is calling
To place on my head a crown.

It is not the crown of reward
Of past deeds that were done
Not the claim of moving forward
Not from passing anyone.

It is the crown of knowing
For what the spirit has to teach
Within the endless reach
Of the soul gently glowing.

We are moving ever forward
In our quest of abundant being
It was the soul extending toward
The truth that I was seeing.

We are not limited ever
having limited time in the sun
We are made of forever
And we have just begun.

Thank you Bea. That is an interesting picture of the fairy and the
sun.

Thank you Deborah. Sometimes I get an inspiration that is
so hard to put into words that poetry is the only way
to express it. The result is a work that is not always
clear in its meaning. It is true that poets sometimes
write a work and without thier knowing has a topic
that is universally understood only years after
the work was written.

It is an art of expression like classical music where words
are the sound that plays the notes.
