Hi Neil;
I couldn't resist replying with more than a thank you ....
==========
I have not participated in your forums much if at all as I really have not been attempting to market anything with any great effort in Adland. This is because I know the way I communicate and my not suffering fools and liars is counterproductive as far as attempting to sell things.

This made me smile, because I would have said the same about myself once upon a time, that I do not suffer fools or liars. But, I have discovered an interesting thing. When I endeavor to learn something completely new and strange to me, I become a fool and risk becoming a liar, too, if I speak before I have sufficient knowledge.
For example, if I stick my head under the hood of a car, I immediately become the fool. If I learn just a "wee bit" and speak of what I think I know, I may become a liar, too. I imagine the same holds for folks trying to stick their heads under the hood of the "internet marketing" and "network marketing" vehicles, too. Not all fools and liars are intentionally so. When I first got online, I was a fool to the Internet, too. That's why I keep trying to give good information. If even one person says they succeeded because I pushed them onto the right path to wisdom, it will have been worth the effort in a "giving back" sort of way.

Being very blunt, very honest and my being an Atheist just does not fly well with many, to most, people.

My ex was an Atheist and I learned an interesting thing from him. Most of us humans do not think that we humans are "the best" creation that the entire universe has to offer. Most of us think there is "something" greater than us. Whether it is God, Buddah, Goddess, aliens, varies from person to person and culture to culture. Most of us cannot look at the entire collective called "human beings" (fools and liars?) and think we are as good as it gets. How we define that which is greater than us is the issue people get prickly about. Just my humble opinion.

Well, so be it, it is the way I am.

At this point in time, perhaps. You were not the same as a 5 year old little boy, nor as a 15 year old adolescent, and you will not be the same when you are a 90 year old man, should you be with us still. Who we are changes according to what we experience in this journey called life. Yes?
==========
Anywho, thanks to the both of you for the great interview and the information provided in it.

You are very welcome. Thank you for enjoying it. And, for what it's worth, part of the pleasure I get from my forum is that people are allowed to have different perspectives with no personal attacks for thinking in their own way. I find it most enlightening to hear different views. They stretch my own mind. You know the old saying... the mind is like a parachute. It works best when open. I try very hard to live that way. So, do know you are welcome should you ever want to join us in a little non-marketing banter and amusement just for the sake of friendship.
Sincerely,
Linda
