You are right, I am going to get some other opinions before I let any blood leach near my spine with a knife .... I am only waiting to get the MRI done and then I will know more and decide how to progress.

I am going to, also, try acupuncture and a few other exotic remedies ... failing that I found a wonderful South African Homeopath here ...  Although homeopathy is one of my courses I haven't got that far yet ... so better not trust myself on that one yet!!! lolol

I hope your mother is recovering well
