Hi Lisa,

Thanks for an interesting forum topic.  It is great to see such a clear and simple explanation of what networking is all about.   

I reckon that  it's about getting to know people and interacting with them - or as it used to be called - making friends.  Very simple.  And, it is always more pleasant to do business with friends than strangers.    It is not "making contacts" so that you can use people - that is just a glorified advertising campàign.

Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable and informative thread.
