JOB DESCRIPTION OF CORE ENGINEER
* Commissioning, integration and migration of MSS,MGW,HLR and BSC,TCSM/RNC and other Nokia network elements identified by the project manager.
* Working with the other team members and take instructions from project manager and execute the work accordingly.
* Inventory of the delivery and discrepancy reporting
* Verification of correct SW package in the network element
* Securing of plug-in units in their positions
* Preparation of documentation for the work performed under this Service Item as part of the Site Folder
* Reporting to hardware services of any plug in units replaced during the execution of this Service Item
* Bar code scanning (If necessary)
* Integration of the NSS core basic configuration, up to max capacity of the base module
* Integration of the MSS in Network Management System
* Initial integration of the MGW up to the maximum configuration
* Integration of the MGW to Network Management System
* Review of system requirements
* Addition of managed objects to DNS
* Creation of managed objects for MGW
* Confirm that the required MR service users exist in NetAct
* Create profiles and user IDs
* Configure LAN interface in OMU
* Configure NEMU for O & M
* Configure connection server software
* Update MR service users to the Network
* Preparation of documentation for the work performed under this Service Item as part of the Site Folder
* Preparation of documentation for the work performed under this Service Item as part of the Site Folder
* Migration and acceptance testing of Nokia core network elements and customer sign-off.
* Waste disposal including transportation and cleaning of the site on a daily basis in relation to the works performed under this Service Item
