Re: THROW IT ALL IN ONE POT

Mary, this is great idea to build a big world cookbook in AdlandPro community. My English is not so good to allow me to express all I use and know! At first: on czech is used word "KASTROL" (read as is written). It means the pot - wide and not high. (pot = HRNEC). Kastrol is daily thing, a little "pejorative" - simple, offen may be beaten. A little kastrol - "KASTRULEK" - is used for meals (dinners), whis people sometimes take with us to the work At second: In Germany is famous "eintopf". But as far as I know, it is not a pot only!! It means hundreds of different receipts, how to prepare meals in ONE POT! It is style of cooking! I know many meals, always during stay in Germany taking it, but i dont like this style, because it is some economy for chef (or down personal washing all after :-).) When I want to prepare some tasty meals, I prefer another style! Miroslav P.S. Yesterday I prepared so "tasty BBQ", that I was able to eat it without teeth (I have not them now, I ll get "new one" in June only! :-)

Exactly Mirek, we do not really have recipes for casseroles in Czech, but we can always get some mouth watering ones from all over the world, right? :-) Blanka

Hi Miroslav, I will add Kastrol (pot wide and not high) Kastrulek-(a little casserole) Yes casseroles are inexpensive. That is why many take to carry in meals. Small amount of meat is needed. Those on a tight budget also will use a casserole as the main meal when having guests. I am going to use the "translator" on line to check out the German. I rather guessed it would be closer to all the other Eurpean versions. Thanks for stopping in. When I get the meat section up, I want your recipe for BBQ.

Hi Blanka, Have not heard from for awhile. How's teaching. E-mail me sometime. I hope to hear from you on some of the other recipes as this is a sharing event. I am going to be putting up another casserole that always gets a request for the recipe. http://community.adlandpro.com/forumShowPost.aspx?PostID=363212 See you around

Hello from Israel, Hi Mary, Yummy, all this talking about food does get my tummy jumping with joy.. Here in Israel we call it: Pashtida. Which is translation for "pie" It can be refered to also as "Kdera" which is translation for "deep bowl cooking" Just to let everyone know, here we traditionaly, do not mix meat and dairy products togather, that is not Kosher.. If you go to a restorant ask for "casserole" the waiter will understand what you mean..
How good are you ?? Are you really THAT good ? Are you sure ?? Think you could handle a real product !? http://www.better.en101.biz
