	I thought it was time to say goodbye, that God was no longer my friend Through the disappointments, heartache and pain, I could no longer try to pretend Life at times, was not so good to me, all I ever saw was the grey Would get down on my knee’s, spending hours just to pray Please, Father, listen, and touch my soul with your hand Give me back my undying faith, and let me understand At times, life is very cruel, A challenge every day I never hear encouragement from you, but I know this is your way The tasks at hand I will meet, and listen for your word Because I believe in my heart, all my prayers have been heard. 	Lord, there is nothing harder than trying to forgive when you've been desperately wounded. It's worse when the offenders show no remorse, but gloat over the pain they have brought to your life. And that's where I am. I do not want to forgive.' But I know enough to understand that the command of Your Holy Word is forgiveness—no matter what. You have not given me an option. Help me to realize that unforgiveness can kill. It can kill my friendships, my joy, even my body. So Lord, I am choosing today to forgive all those who have stolen from me, all who have broken my heart, all who have wounded my body or my soul, all who have haunted me for years. In the name of Jesus, I forgive. Thank You, Lord, for strength to walk out this forgiveness in my life. Thank You for using it as a testimony to the power of Your love. And thank You that, as I choose to forgive moment by moment, the feelings will follow.

	Dearest Beverly ! Thank you my dear friend for resurrecting this very meaningful poem which is one of the best that ever came out of my head. If someone told me there is no God then I would ask them to talk to my Mother on how I was like growing up and how I am now when I almost lost my life. I never knew how to put two words together before the accident and now I am a recognized poet Thank You Dear Father !
