Hi Luella,

I love DE earth. Just used it today on my carpet. It is great for fleas and small insects. The fleas are very bad here this year, maybe it is all the rain we have been getting.

I just read something the other day, when using DE on flower to make sure it doesn't get onto the part that the bees use, because it will kill bees too. I didn't know that and was using it on my roses. However I do use it on my garden. Gets rid of those nasty bugs. ---all natural good stuff.

Another thing the article said was that even the dew falling can cause it not to work, is because of moisture .

Myrna, we have had hell with fleas this year too, so I have been using diatomaceous earth on the dogs constantly.

Yes, I know we have to be careful with flowers. I put diatomaceous earth on the bottom of my plants and it works well. Except for the racoon that ate our melons one night.

I hope you have a wonderful day.

Hugs,
Luella
