Thanks, Jim If anyone wants to question me or my little old mom for chuckling about an outburst of "no deaths recently"! I'll tell them something, my mom is 75 now and was diagnosed with Alzheimers 2 years ago, now she just sits there, smiles a little and looks bright-eyed like a little kid when there's an exuberant conversation in earshot. She was a pistol in her prime years, always bursting with the least-expected information and sometimes Too Much Info...amidst gales of laughter, and sometimes not always patient because we had tons of kids in our family, but always a Mom. Anyway, she had an intestinal problem 9 years ago at age 66 and almost died and was in the hospital for a long time. When she got better, she told me when she had been in a mild coma, she had seen a long hallway filled with all colors of flowers and the walls were all luminous different colors of bricks with bright light shining thru. People need to remember, death is an eternal glory every moment of the next lifetime in the presence of God, it's not something to be gloomy about while we're here, of course we miss our loved ones especially if they pass quickly and leave this life within minutes, and their things all around their house as if they were planning to clean up soon and watch TV and finish their paperwork. God and Jesus are strong and exuberant and Jesus had a magnetic personality, they are not passive entities, and if people truly believe that we're created in the image of God, we need to believe in exuberance and joy, and laughter is part of joy, and it should not be supressed in an unexpected outburst of "no deaths recently" that even an elderly lady with Alzheimers still understands to be an honest statement of no mal-intent.
