Wonderful forum dedicated to a great cause Sam ! Sorry to get here late, but I guess its better late than never....just got back from my vacation :)

My story is that of my darling Mom. She was 60 yrs old...looked like 40 healthy as ever no illness of any sort not even any menopause stuff that many women suffer from...BUT .....July of '96 found her suffering from what looked to us as dysentry which went on for more days than it should, on medical investigation we discovered she had colon cancer in its 5th stage, well she went thru the works of surgery, chem n radiation ...there were times she showed progress n was normal then it was a downward dive and finally she succumbed to it in '98.

What I learned of this rogue disease and her suffering is that we have to be careful what we eat, and from then on I have been absolutely careful to watch my diet, I would advise friends to research go on diets suitable for you eat what contributes wellness and enriches your immune system, and most importantly watch out for tell tale signs !!!! BELIEVE ME YOUR BODY SPEAKS TO YOU we just have to be tuned in :)

Thanks again for letting us tell our stories here Sam.

God bless all

hugz

Hello my dear friend Pauline,
Many thanks for making out time to come in and contribute your quota on this topic.
So so sorry about your darling mother. The hands of cancer have done so much havoc to the human race the world over.
Your advice on what we take inside of us is a clarion call we all need to heed if we are aspiring to live a better life for ourselves and generations yet to come after us!

How tragic Pauline and those 2 years of misery had to be hard for the entire family. She was young and it is so sad.

All you say is very good advice.
