They (Catholic church) forbid people (priests) to marry... (1 Timothy 4:3).

Such teachings come through hypocritical liars,... (1 Timothy 4:2).

Their teachings are but rules taught by men." (Matthew 15:7-9; Isaiah 29:13).

The Lord God said,
"It is not good for the man to be alone.
I will make a helper suitable for him." (Genesis 2:18).

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” (Ephesians 5:31).

The woman is the glory of man.
(1 Corinthians 11:7).

He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.
(Proverbs 18:22 ).

No, the Word of God does not require priests to be celibate. Aaron was married who was the first priest ordained by God Himself.

Also, the Word says it is better not to marry if you are going to serve God. But nonetheless, it is not a requirement. God bless.
