Muslim Violence Increases As Michigan Now Aims For Islamic Governorship

CAIR silences free speech against Muslims and has possible terrorist ties.

As refugees continue pouring into Michigan, there have been several high-profile incidents involving Muslims in the state. Cases of assault, female genital mutilation, and anti-free speech rhetoric have hit the pages of Michigan newspapers. Meanwhile, liberals are working to elect the country’s first Muslim governor.

Abdelnasser Mohamed was working as a gas station attendant in Troy Michigan when a woman came into the station asking for help with the gas pump card reader. According to the woman, Mohamed proceeded to touch her crotch and ask her for a sexual favor in exchange for his assistance.

Since the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War in 2011, over 2100 Syrian refugees have entered Michigan, 657 of them settling in Troy according to the Refugee Processing Center. The immigration status of Mohamed is unknown.

Violence is not the only concern in regards to the growing refugee population. There have also been several instances of anti-free speech sentiments from Muslim groups. Secure Michigan, an organization that opposes Sharia Law and mass refugee immigration was giving a presentation on the negatives of refugee resettlement and were interrupted by a mob of liberal college students which forced the event to be shut down.

Local newspapers covering the event chose to focus their coverage on the victimization of refugees rather than on the squelching of free speech. The Southern Poverty Law Center emphasized their designation of Secure Michigan as a “Muslim hate group.” Ignoring the fact that the Justice Department under Obama reprimanded the SPLC for labeling all detractors “haters.”

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) also demanded punishment of a Detroit firefighter who allegedly shared several anti-Muslim posts on Facebook.

In another disturbing case, a Muslim doctor in Michigan became the first to be charged with the crime of performing the atrocity of female genital mutilation (FGM). Just days later, two other individuals were charged with the same crime. CAIR has been quick to defend Muslims against any criticisms regarding the aforementioned incidents and has labeled any critics as racists and bigots.

Dr. Jumana Nagarwala, has been charged with performing female genital mutilation.

The liberal media in Michigan has been silent on CAIR’s possible extremist ties. Though the group was not indicted, CAIR was alleged to have been a co-conspirator in funding Hamas, a known terrorist organization, alongside the Islamist Texas group the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. CAIR was mentioned in transcripts of HLF meetings as a secular group that might push Islamic ideologies to the general American population.

With an upcoming gubernatorial election next year, some see the activities of CAIR and the SLPC in Michigan as preparation for the possibility of the country’s first Muslim governor. Dr. Abdul el-Sayed, the former health director for the city of Detroit, is planning to run for governor. His platform focuses on making Michigan a sanctuary state and increasing the influx of Muslim refugees from countries such as Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, and others.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed plans to run for Governor of Michigan and expand refugee immigration.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed plans to run for Governor of Michigan and expand refugee immigration.

Dick Manasseri, the head of Secure Michigan, is not taking the SPLC and CAIR intimidation tactics lying down. He intends to continue giving presentations on the realities of the refugee problems and fight against the election of el-Sayed. Manasseri points to Michigan’s Catholic population as being instrumental in this fight. Detroit alone is 22% Catholic, and this large group will likely not fit neatly into the Muslim-favoring liberal agenda being pushed into the state.

The protection of women and the defense of free speech are cornerstones of American culture. Liberal groups claim to promote these causes until Muslims are involved. With a Muslim in the Governor’s Office, it stands to reason that practices such as FGM might not meet the same firm indictment as they have in the past, and with CAIR backing el-Sayed, it seems entirely plausible that he might support the squelching of speech that criticizes Islam and refugees.

Those who hold to American values must take a hard look at the activities of groups such as CAIR and the SPLC and the ramifications of electing a candidate supported by such groups. Catholics and Protestants alike must make themselves heard and vote their conscience without fear of being labeled racists and bigots.

Though the election of a Muslim governor does not necessarily mean Sharia Law will rule the streets of Michigan, the election of any individual supported by groups such as CAIR is cause for concern. A man who stands against principles of free speech, national security, and the rule of law has no place in state government.

Black College Student’s Alleged Killer Belongs To White Supremacist Facebook Group: Police

The FBI is investigating the attack as a possible hate crime after discovering the suspect’s connection to racist Facebook page “Alt-Reich: Nation.”

The FBI is considering
the fatal stabbing of a black college student a possible hate crime after learning the suspect is a member of a white supremacist Facebook group.

Sean Christoper Urbanski, a 22-year-old student at the University of Maryland, has been charged with first- and second-degree murder as well as first-degree assault following the recent slaying of Richard Wilbur Collins, a senior at Bowie State University.

The UMD Police Department enlisted the help of federal law enforcement after discovering Urbanski’s connection to “Alt-Reich: Nation,” a racist Facebook group that posts disparaging content about African Americans and other minority groups.

Collins was visiting UMD during graduation weekend when Urbanski allegedly stabbed him early Saturday morning. The BSU student was waiting for an Uber near a UMD shuttle bus stop with a couple of friends when a screaming Urbanski allegedly approached the group around 3 a.m.

Witnesses told police that Urbanski was intoxicated and incoherent as he shouted at Collins to “step left if you know what’s best for you,” according to court documents obtained by News 4 Washington. After Collins refused, Urbanski allegedly thrust a “3 to 4 inch silver blade” into the victim’s chest.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Collins bleeding and laying on the sidewalk as Urbanski sat on a bench roughly 50 feet away.

Urbanski was arrested and Collins was transported to a local hospital, where he died.

Authorities said the attack was caught on surveillance camera and thought to be unprovoked. Urbanski is being held without bond.

Sean Christopher Urbanski (left) has been charged with the murder of Richard Collins III (right).

Collins, 23, was set to graduate from Bowie State University on Tuesday. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army just days before his death.

Vidal Adams, a fellow Bowie State student, told The Baltimore Sun that Collins was “vibrant, funny and outgoing,” adding that his late friend had wanted to travel the world and go skydiving.

“It never gets any worse than this,” UMD Police Chief David Mitchell said at a press conference on Saturday. “When I sat with the victim’s father, who is a military veteran, and his pastor and we shed tears together ... I can tell you, it rips your heart out.”

UMD President Wallace D. Loh vowed to increase police presence on campus in response to the attack and encouraged community members to “do more to nurture a climate” that stands “against hate crimes.”

“As we search for answers to this senseless crime, please continue to keep the family and friends of Lt. Collins, and the BSU community, in your thoughts and prayers,” Loh said in a statement Sunday. “We all grieve together for a promising life ended far too early.”

ISIS tests chemical weapons on ‘human guinea pigs’ in twisted ‘Nazi-style’ experiments

New discovery lifts the lid on the tests that reveal the true horror of the so-called ISIS caliphate

Updated: 22nd May 2017,

ISIS has tested deadly poisons on prisoners in Nazi-style experiments in a bid to develop chemical weapons which could be used to contaminate Britain’s food supplies.

A cache of documents record the death cult’s use of “human guinea pigs” who died testing at least two chemical agents, reports The Times.

The papers were found hidden at Mosul University by Iraqi special forces after it was recaptured from the retreating jihadists.

British and US forces have verified the records as bona fide Isis papers.

They document experiments on prisoners using pesticides and nicotine.

The nightmarish scenario is reminiscent of trials conducted by evil Nazi doctor Josef Mengele on concentration camp inmates during World War 2.

Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a British chemical weapons expert, described Isis testing to the Times on humans as “almost holocaust type”.

He said: “This is a horrifying throwback to the Nazis who would test nerve agents on live humans.

“During the Second World War, the Nazis conducted thousands of deadly experiments with mustard gas on prisoners at Sachsenhausen concentration camp, near Berlin.”

According to the documents, Isis scientists poisoned a man who weighed almost 16 stone.

He was fed thallium sulphate in his food or water.

After two days the victim began to feeling sick and had a fever.

His stomach and brain then began swelling. Ten days later he was dead.

The twisted terror group regarded the murder as a success because the killer compound was an “ideal lethal poison”.

This is because it is difficult to detect and it had delayed symptoms.

Another man was injected with large amounts of nicotine, blacking out almost immediately and dying within two hours.

A hapless captive was then daubed in nicotine to see what would happen.

He passed out but did not die.

The group has increasingly made use of chemical agents, with dozens of chlorine gas attacks reported on Iraqi troops in recent months. It has also launched mustard gas attacks in Syria.

Isis are one of the worst political groups in modern times.

As well as experimenting on humans, the terror group are accused of massacres and regularly boast about inventive ways of executing people in slickly produced snuff videos.

MUSLIMS IN MANCHESTER FEAR REPRISALS AS ISIS CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONCERT ATTACK

BY

In a run-down back street in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, England, less than a mile from the arena where a bomb killed 22 people on Monday, is the Muslim Youth Foundation (MYF), a local mosque and community center that runs programs for young people.

Pinned to a notice board in its lobby is a simple three-paragraph message, welcoming all to pray and attend activities at the center. Below, it includes an addendum: “We do not tolerate any kind of extremism or extremist ideologies inside this center.” And then, in red type: “We urge everybody to stay within the Islamic and the U.K. laws.”

That message has become all the more apt since Monday night, when a suicide bomber detonated an improvised explosive device at the end of an Ariana Grande concert, causing mayhem among the 20,000-strong fans flooding out of the arena.

On Tuesday, the Islamic State militant group (ISIS) said a “soldier of the Khilafah [caliphate]” was responsible for the attack. The attacker, who died detonating the device, has been unofficially named as 23-year-old Salman Abedi, though police have not responded to Newsweek’s request for confirmation.

Many of the city’s nearly quarter-million Muslims dread the seemingly inevitable backlash against their community. Mohamed Abdul Malek, an imam and trustee of the MYF, says the aftermath of such attacks is a time marked by fear. “I think with past experience, that fear is there in our [community], especially among women,” says Malek, 61, shuffling in his leather chair in a back room in the MYF’s office.

“But I pray and tell those who want to take revenge against Muslims that Muslims are equally victims of this act. Muslim youngsters were in the concert. The taxi drivers who helped take youngsters to their homes—some of them would be Muslims. People in the city center are Muslims. We are part of this community, and what hurts the community hurts us,” he adds.

That community is now in mourning. Much of the city remained on lockdown on Tuesday morning. A large portion of the city center was kept behind police cordon, while police evacuated the Arndale shopping center and kept it shut for several hours after reports that police had found a suspicious package in the mall’s food court. (The incident was apparently unrelated to the arena bombing.)

Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said on Tuesday morning that the death toll had risen overnight from 19 to 22, and that 59 people were injured in the attack—the worst in London since the 7/7 attacks in July 2005, in which 52 people were killed in a series of bombings on public transport in London.

The dead included children, one of whom—8-year-old Saffie Roussos from Leyland, Lancashire—has been identified. Georgina Callander, an 18-year-old student of Runshaw College in Lancashire, was the first victim to be identified.

Police have also arrested a suspect linked to Monday’s attack in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, an area in south Manchester.

Malek, the imam, says he is concerned that radical ideology appears to have taken root among some young Muslims in Manchester. “We are worried that young people could do such a thing. One wonders where did this young man get hold of these explosives, how did he connect with the people who helped him to enact this,” he says.

But that radicalization comes alongside something else: a rise in anti-Muslim hate crimes, in part stoked by attacks claimed by ISIS in Brussels and Paris, as well as the aftermath of the U.K.’s vote to leave the European Union. In December 2016, the Muslim Council of Britain urged British politicians to urgently address Islamophobia in the face of growing attacks against Muslims in the U.K. Figures released in October 2016 showed that hate crimes against Muslims in London had increased 65 percent on the previous year.

At the MYF, young men shuffle past gathering journalists and file downstairs to attend the midday prayers. Malek says he will be instructing his congregation to speak out against the attack, but also to be vigilant for their own safety. “The Muslim community should clearly show its support for the victims of this act, should do whatever it can to lessen the impact of this act. But at the same time, [they] should take precautions against people who might target them for being Muslims,” he says.

“The people who were killed are our colleagues, our friends our neighbors. You cannot separate us or segregate us from the impact of such on act on the people of Manchester generally.”

Manchester suicide attack lays bare limits of security measures

By Kaori Kaneko and John Irish | TOKYO/PARIS

Countries across the world will tighten security ahead of major cultural and sports events after a suicide bombing in Britain that killed at least 22 people, but experts say reinforced measures will do little to prevent determined individuals.

Given the target being a Manchester pop concert, the latest attack to hit Europe had echoes of the coordinated attacks in November 2015 by Islamist militants on the Bataclan concert hall and France's national soccer stadium that killed 130 people.

Since those attacks, France has been in a state of emergency and seen thousands of soldiers patrolling its streets alongside police to protect tourist sites, government buildings and events.

That has not stopped a raft of attacks in the country, such as the truck attack in Nice on Bastille Day last July, by "lone-wolf" assailants who did not use a network of fellow militants -- all lessening the risk of alerting security agencies.

"Whatever is done - and in this case it's British intelligence which is considered among the best in the world - it won't prevent such incidents happening," said Jean-Charles Brisard, president of the Centre for the Analysis of Terrorism.

"You can bring back the perimeter, add security gates and as many controls as you want, but that will not change the fact that a determined individual will carry out his act if he is not caught before."

After a meeting with security and intelligence chiefs, Prime Minister Theresa May said police believed they knew the identity of the bomber. The attack was claimed by Islamic State.

London's mayor said there would be more police on the streets of the capital after the attack at the end of a concert by U.S. singer Ariana Grande in Manchester, 200 miles (320 km)north of London.

Officials in several other countries on Tuesday also sought to reassure their citizens following Monday's attack.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security warned that the U.S. public may experience increased security at public events.

Hong Kong's AsiaWorld Expo, where Grande is due to hold a concert in September, said it would improve security at all concerts and events. Besides baggage inspection, there would also be metal detectors and search dogs, it said in a statement.

SM investments Corp, whose Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippine capital will host Grande in August, said it would take all precautions. "Our security is always stepped up especially for big crowds like this," said SM investment relations chief Corazon Guidote.

Sports events organizers were also looking into security. European soccer body UEFA said there was "no specific intelligence" to suggest that Wednesday's Europa League final in Stockholm between Manchester United and Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam might be the target of any attack.

The International Cricket Council said security for the ICC Champions Trophy next month in Britain was its "highest priority".

GENERATION OF TERRORISM

France's Interior Ministry said on Tuesday it would send a list of measures to police to reinforce security, although officials said there was nothing especially new being proposed.

"There are plenty of measures already in place including by increasing private security contributions, but everyone has to simply remain vigilant," said Sebastien Pietrasanta, a French Socialist lawmaker and terrorism expert.

"I think we have to accept that we'll be fighting terrorism for a generation."

Speaking on RTL radio, Thierry Teodori, who runs a large concert hall in the southern French city of Lyon that was due to host a Grande concert in June, echoed those comments.

He said venues in France had already substantially beefed up ways of controlling crowds, searches and monitoring queues as well as increasing manpower.

"With every tragedy there is a new scenario. We have to train personnel to be as effective as possible and anticipate all eventualities, but that's inside the perimeter," he said.

"Outside the perimeter, it's up to security forces and the state to ensure security because we don't have the legitimacy to do that."

In Singapore, the organizer of Britney Spears' concerts in June said they were considering new measures.

"All our events are licensed by the police. It is normally advised by the licensing department on what precautions to take, how many armed guards we need. So we work closely with them," said Yogesh Mehta, project manager at IME Entertainment Group.

Singapore, which hosts a security summit between June 2-4 bringing together Asia-Pacific defense and military chiefs, made amendments to the Public Order Act last month.

It requires event organizers to notify the police a month beforehand if they expect more than 5,000 people to attend. And police may refuse to allow a public gathering if it has a direct political end or involves foreigners.

However, as well as a financial cost, enhancing security to such levels in Western countries may prove unpopular given they could curb on people's existing way of life, experts said.

"It's a problem of means, but also a political choice," said Brisard. "You have to continue living your life despite the attacks and not enter into the terrorists' game.

"They want you to change your system so that our society is entirely dependent on a security plan," he said.
