Sad news.

Our dear old Felix made his last trip to the veterinary surgeon yesterday.

He was an amazing 23 years old.

He will be very much missed. He was totally deaf and was suffering too much with his arthritis that we made the decision.

For the first time in forty years we have no pets. Very quiet.

As you can see his coat was getting a little scruffy, but we loved him.

I join in your sadness at Felix's passing, however, take comfort that he can now run freely without pain. That is truly a Blessing.

A Tribute To Felix

Gentle eyes that saw so much,
Paws that had that quiet touch,

Purrs that signaled when "all was well"
And showed more love than words could tell.

Graceful movements touched with pride,
He was a calming presence by our side --

A friendship that took time to grow --
Small wonder why we loved him so.
