Your Identities – The Council

Your Identities – The Council

There is still quite a lot of misunderstanding regarding your identities. Here is a question from the excellent response we received from our last prompting:

“Are we all literally the exact same “I AM” Presence or does the One “I AM” individuate or split into sub-“I AM”‘s? In other words, to what extent is Jack fully Amy who is fully Juanita?”

We will answer this in more than one way.

To begin, the mindset of either/or creates a problem in itself. To the western mind, if something is one thing, it cannot be another. To the eastern mind, the most common mindset is both/and. To this mind, it is possible for a thing to be more than one thing, and this is obviously true of most things.

This is complicated by your perception that you are a solid, material ‘thing’ that is exclusive of all other things. This is a misperception that we have gone to some lengths to correct. It would help if the entire perception of mutually exclusive things were tossed out. It has been shown, for over one hundred years, that this is erroneous. This is caused by your inability to ‘see’ at a microscopic level. But the understanding that matter is ultimately energy is already accepted.

Once one understands that matter is only energy, then the step to seeing things as mutually existing energy fields is a simple one to make. And fields affect each other.

Think of a tub of water. Put a drop of blue into one corner of the tub, a drop of red into another, and a drop of green into a third. It is very easy to imagine that they will take on effects from the other colors.

Let’s consider an individual human. Call him Frank. Frank is an individual. He has certain characteristics that are familial. He also shows the effect of his schooling, of his town, of his country, and of his species, etc. These are all fields of consciousness.

Now, in your question, Jack, Amy, and Juanita are individuals. Depending upon how closely associated they are, they each will be affected by the other two. The ways in which they are affected will depend upon their own make-up, among other factors. But they will be affected. This applies, also, to the fields of town, country, etc., that we mentioned above.

Now, the larger question, “Are we all literally the exact same “I AM” Presence or does the One “I AM” individuate or split into sub-“I AM”‘s?” The answer is both/and.

We, notice that we are including ourselves, are literally the exact same I AM. I AM has individuated. AND we each are fields of consciousness that are affected by all other fields of consciousness – not millions, not billions, not even septillions, not human, not earthly, but ALL.

So you may begin to see how very restrictive mankind’s current view of itself is. Begin to understand yourselves as conscious energies and your realization of your possibilities will immediately begin to increase. You are truly a limitless being who is in the process of remembering that you are a limitless being.

A final thought, if we may – we did not say that Jack was fully Amy or that either was fully Juanita. But we WILL say that each of them is fully I AM. Your own definition of I AM is that it is All That Is. If I AM is All That Is, then they can be nothing else, nor can you.

Thank you for the opportunity to discuss this.

Let me say that truth is an experience in the sense of experiencing. You can never declare, you can never claim "I have it." You can only be humble about it -- "It is happening" -- and then you will not be deceived. The deception comes because you start claiming "I have it." Then the ego arises saying, "I have the truth. Only I have the truth, nobody else does. I have arrived." And the ego raises its head.

Truth is an experiencing. You cannot claim it, it is very mercurial. If you want to grab it, it will disappear from your fist. You can have it only with an open hand, not with a fist.

When you make a noun out of it, you are trying to grab it in a fist; it will disappear. Let it remain a verb. Don't say, "I have arrived." Simply say, "The pilgrimage has started. I am a pilgrim, I am moving."

Manifestations

Galactic Free Press's picture

Imagine you are a file clerk. It is your ‘job’ to move the files from your desk to the appropriate locations in the room. Are you picturing this? Good! Now, imagine how you will move those files from point A to point B. Do you sit at the desk and will them to move to the proper locations or do you get up and start filing? Manifestation works the same way. (Smiling)

You can sit in one spot, doing nothing, seeing no one and hope those manifestations come to pass or…you can get up from behind that desk and get to work. You have the power and ability to bring what you want into your life. The difference between those who receive and those who do not is action! Dearest child, they are your manifestations, The Universe is guiding you on how to achieve, and you know how to accomplish it. What are you waiting for? ~ Creator

New Zealand Women Don Headscarves to Support Muslims After Shootings

Joining together with New Zealand in solidarity.

CHRISTCHURCH – Women all over New Zealand put on headscarves on Friday to show solidarity with Muslims a week after 50 people were killed at two mosques in the city of Christchurch.

A doctor in Auckland, Thaya Ashman, came up with the idea to encourage people to wear a headscarf after hearing about a woman who was too scared to go out as she felt her headscarf would make her a target for terrorism.

“I wanted to say: ‘We are with you, we want you to feel at home on your own streets, we love, support and respect you’,” Ashman said.

As Christchurch geared up for prayers at a park in front of the Al Noor mosque, where most of the victims were killed last week, women in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch posted pictures of themselves in headscarves, some with children in headscarves, too.

“Why am I wearing a headscarf today? Well, my primary reason was that if anybody else turns up waving a gun, I want to stand between him and anybody he might be pointing it at. And I don’t want him to be able to tell the difference, because there is no difference,” said Bell Sibly, in Christchurch.

Many Muslim women cover their heads in public with the hijab as a sign of modesty, although some critics see it as a sign of female oppression.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern won widespread praise last week for putting on a black headscarf when meeting members of the Muslim community after the shootings.

A woman police officer kept guard at a Christchurch cemetery, where shooting victims were buried on Thursday, with a scarf over her head and an automatic weapon in her hands.

‘DERAILING THE EXAMINATION’

Rachel MacGregor, who is involved in the Head Scarf for Harmony campaign, said she had felt anxious going out with her head covered, with people staring when she entered her office building.

“It’s given me for the first time an appreciation for what it must be like to be a minority and to wear clothing that perhaps the majority don’t normally wear,” she said by telephone from Auckland.

Both headscarves and the niqab, the full-face Islamic veil, have stirred debate in countries around the world. Some have tried to restrict the items, the niqab in particular, others have called for women to wear them.

While the New Zealand campaign won support and appreciation from the Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand and the NZ Muslim Association, it has opponents in New Zealand and beyond.

In an unsigned opinion piece on Stuff.co.nz, a Muslim woman called the movement “cheap tokenism”.

“The attack in Christchurch was not just about Muslims, it was against any person of color in a ‘white’ country so this focus on hijabs is derailing the examination of white supremacy, systematic racism, Orientalism and bigotry,” she said.

A professor and former journalist, Asra Nomani, in Washington, who has campaigned for Muslim reform, urged women not to wear a headscarf for harmony.

“It is a symbol of purity culture antithetical to feminist values. We have women in jail and dead, for refusing the interpretation of Islam you promote,” Nomani said on Twitter.
