I use several ways to advertise my business. The first place I put my ads are in my own website.These are bottom ads as my website is a no sign-in help site for new website owners and home business members. http://www.marybirdsinformationplace.com/

Next I like safelists that have my ads stored on site or I surf other peoples adds inside their site.Of course Adlandpro ads,traffic exchange and forums.

Traffic exchanges: Join the rotator http://www.traffictornado.com/x/ref.cgi/30537 Tornado I advertise in all the traffic exchages,my website,a blog or two of mine and my businesses. I joined ALL the traffic exchanges as a free member and then upgraded in my six favorites after payday.These are a "Pay by the month thing" .Not everyone likes the same exchanges.The ones with the most members are near the top of the list,unless it says "new". I will only advertise traffic exchanges if I can put my picture on them.

I keep a notepad on the frig for next weeks items.I try to order enough for 2 weeks if the item is on sale.Prices are just above wholesale.

I think that is probably the most standard of the advertising methoods that you use mary I do that as well, I also print off flyers and post them here and there around the area and surrounding towns. This works better for my C Store than it does for other things but it does work, twitter and face book as well as digg and you tube are also quite effective.

I have been on the Net for 20+ years and maintain that I have Never Paid for Advertising. However, I can No Longer say that. I found a way to Advertise on most all the traffic Exchanges with a Ton of Features Way to Many to List here in this post.
It is one I have never Heard of Before in my 20+ yrs on the Net. I was Very Impressed with what they give you for a One Time Payment of $12.97.
