WAS MARY MAGDALENE A PROSTITUTE?

In 591 A.D. Pope Gregory The Great, preached a sermon in Rome

which stated that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute.

BIBLICAL EVIDENCE

It is Biblically evident that Mary Magdalene was NOT a prostitute

but was demon-possessed, in that the Holy Bible says:

When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week,

He appeared first to Mary Magdalene,

out of whom he had driven seven demons.

(Mark 16:9; Luke 8:2).

PERSUADED BY THE EVIDENCE

In 1969 the Catholic Church officially corrected
Pope Gregory The Great erroneous statement
of Mary Magdalene.

As the scripture you quoted the Bible did not show her as a prostitute.

That's what I remember hearing until I starting studying for myself which is what we need to do anyway not take other peoples word for it.
