The Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) has announced the availability of approximately $1.43 billion in funding available for homeless assistance grants across the country. The Continuum of Care (CoC) Homeless Assistance Program works to reduce the incidence of homelessness in CoC communities by assisting homeless individuals and families in moving to self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Application deadline is November 9, 2009.
