not-so-identical twins

A family had twin boys whose only resemblance to each other was their looks. If one felt it was too hot, the other thought it was too cold. If one said the t.v. was too loud, the other claimed the volume needed to be turned up. They were opposite in every way. One was an eternal optimist, the other a doom-and-gloom pessimist. Just to see what would happen, on Christmas, their father loaded the pessimist's room with every imaginable toy and game. The optimist's room he loaded with horse manure. That night, the father passed by the pessimist's room and found his son sitting amid his new gifts crying bitterly. "Why are you crying?" the father asked. "Because my friends will be jealous. I'll have to read all these instructions before I can do anything with this stuff. I'll constantly need batteries, and my toys will eventually get broken," answered the pessimist twin. Passing the optimist twin's room, the father found his son dancing for joy in the pile of manure. "What are you so happy about?" the father asked. The optimist twin replied, "There's got to be a pony in here somewhere!"

Hi Ana Maria, That was really good! :-) LOL! I'm sure we all know people who are just like these two boys. Good to ask ourselves which one we would be. Here's a link to my fun forum about celebration...kids style! I will be posting different threads about fun, celebration, & the Lord's birth, all the way up till Christmas. It's my way of celebrating & sharing this with my friends. Please drop by and post when you get a moment. The 1st in my series was posted a few days ago. It’s light hearted and reminds me of how kids just ENJOY life. http://www.adlandpro.com/directad/forumShowPost.aspx?PostID=224316 Ana Maria, you're always a pleasure. Take care, Cheryl

Thank you Cheryl for the link. Perhaps I deleted the invite or its still waiting for me LOL As I'm too busy, I choose among my invites more randomly as I can't realy decide (most of the time :-) ) which one to join. I'm on my way there.
