There are only about 7 - 15 verses in the Bible with the precise word "forgiveness" depending which version you are using.

I used the Search at  >  > http://www.gateway.com

The King James Version has 7 verses with "forgiveness"

The New King James Version has 10 such verses and
the NIV has about 15.

If you are allowing variations of the word "forgiveness" then there are many more verses with "forgive, forgiven, forgiving, forgiveness".

Hebrews 9:22 (NIV) says.....

"In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness."

What can I say......shame on me for not reading the rules.....and I must ask for your forgiveness....... well then todays`s worse would be: When Paul was tried before A-grip'-pa the king for claiming Jesus to be alive after crucifixtion. and when he was judged for these matters.... He repeats about the incidence when he was called to serve when he was still Saul...Acts 26 verse 14-17.I heard a voice speaking unto me,and saying in the Hebrew tongue, "Saul,Saul,why persecutest thou me? It is hard for me to kick against the pricks, I said who art Thou Lord, and He said, I am Jesus whom Thou persecutest.
