WHAT GOOD IS THERE IN "GOOD FRIDAY?"
4/26/2009 3:56:54 PM

How can the worst day in human history be described as "Good Friday?"

This is the day that our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified.

It is the day he hung on the cross for all our sins.

It was a day of darkness, in that "at noon time the sun went down

and darken the earth in broad daylight. (Amos 8:9).

Darkness came over the whole land ...,for the sun stopped shining. ...

Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit."

When he had said this, he breathed his last. (Luke 23:44-46).

Forgive us Lord for causing you to be crucified for the forgiveness of all our sins on this “Dark Friday.”
