We've all heard prospects say:

"Oh, that will never work."

And why do they automatically think this when you present your opportunity to them? Because they have had their belief system conditioned since childhood.

-Their parents told them to go to school, get good grades,and get a good job.

-Their teachers told them that they would get a good job if they didn't get good grades.

-Their friends told them to fit in with the crowd.

-and all of society that says, "Go to school, get good job, retire a year before you die."

So Why is this?

This story may help.

Start with a cage containing 5 apes. In the cage, hang a banana on a string and put stairs under it. Before long, an ape will go to the stairs and start to climb towards the banana. As soon as he touches the stairs, spray all the apes with cold water.

After a while, another ape will make an attempt -with the same result-all the apes are sprayed with cold water.

Now, turn off the cold water.

Later, if another ape tries to climb the stairs to get the banana, the other apes will try to prevent it, even though no water sprays them!

Now, remove one ape from the cage and replace it with a new ape.

The new ape sees the banana and tries to climb the stairs to get it. To his horror all the other apes attack him.

After another attempt and attack the ape knows better than to try to get the banana.

Next, remove another of the original 5 apes and replace him with a new ape. The new ape goes for the banana and gets attacked.The previous new ape takes part in the punishment with enthusiasm. Again, replace a third original ape with a new one. The new ape gets as far as the bottom of the stairs and is assaulted as well.

Two of the four apes that beat him have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs,or why they are participating in the beating of the newest ape.

After replacing the fourth and fifth original apes, all the original apes that were sprayed with cold water have been replaced.

Nevertheless, no ape ever again approaches the stairs. Why not?

"Because that's the way it's always been around here."

Why Does EFT Work? Based on the ancient principles of acupuncture, Emotional Freedom Technique comes from the theory that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption or blockage in the body’s energy system. These blocks can involve disturbing memories, fears, phobias, anxiety, grief, depression, guilt, shame or worry. Ruden, MD, PhD in his book Why Tapping Works: Speculations from the Observable Brain, brain chemistry also may be part of the process because stimulation of acupressure points may enhance the production of neurotransmitters and endorphins, which are chemicals that contribute to a sense of wellbeing and stress relief. EFT combines two powerful forms of energy – intention energy and kinesthetic energy. Intention or “thought energy” is activated through verbal statements that focus on the problem. By focusing on the problem with a simple “reminder phrase” the body locates the blockage(s) in the energy pathways related to that specific problem. Beginners are encouraged not to worry too much about the words chosen for statements. A person should trust his/her intuition when developing reminder phrases. The second form of energy used in EFT is kinesthetic energy, the actual tapping of acupressure points, which brings additional energy into the meridian system. Eastern medicine has identified common emotions involved with each energy meridian pathway. For example, the stomach meridian (acupoint under the eye) is associated with emotions of worry and trust/mistrust. However, EFT has a generic, simple protocol in which one taps all of the points even though they may not all be needed for successful treatment. There is no harm in doing so; the body balances the energy naturally and releases what it does not need.

YES, there is nothing like EFT, and I have agreed for 15 + years what this statement says, "Medical technology is just now catching up with what the ancient Chinese knew more than 5,000 years ago"

When I first consulted an acupunturist, I thought I had died and gone to heaven.  And from there I learned the acupressure points which has really helped me alleviate some minor energy blockages.

And now when people realize how they can use the EFT, it is all so simple and we just need to educate more people.

Great post attitude determines your altitude.  As a leader you must possessed unwavering courage when you are going against the norms.  If just one ape had reach that banana, then a whole new mindset would develop.  The apes would know for the time being that they could get the banana without being splash with cold water.  One adventurous ape would have create havoc in that society.
