Sunny Greetings from California,
Vivienne!
Welcome back, my dear friend!
I have been away again for several business conferences. This time of the year
is quite busy for me with many off line obligations. Like you said, it is very
good to be busy. It just requires me to be organized and manage my time better
as I set priorities. Sometimes it can be a challenge because I often want to do
it all. :-)
I really appreciate your being understanding about my tardiness
here.
Many thanks for sharing your photos of those beautiful
blossoms. I have looked them up in my catalogs and garden books. I think that
those flowers are Delosperma Stardust. They seem to thrive in a mild climate.
It makes me very happy to know that you enjoy this photo
thread. I feel very much the same way. This photo club provides me an outlet to
share, with some of my friends here who enjoy photography as much as I do, my
favorite pictures of things that have caught my interest. I seem to be almost
constantly pointing my camera at various things in my surroundings. :-)
Vivienne, I'd like to share with you one of my favorites
photos from my
Animal
Series.

In early spring of this year, the local chapter of California
Greyhound Adoption Association had a booth at one of the community events in my
hometown of Clovis and showed several retired greyhounds available for adoption.
I had the opportunity to take a picture of this beautiful greyhound. I
understand that greyhounds make wonderful and loving pets. The folks at the
California Greyhound Adoption Association do screen very carefully the
prospective applicants who want to adopt the retired greyhounds.
I feel very
blessed with all my bulb flowers. They faithfully bloomed for me even when I
have been too busy to work in my garden. Here is a photo of one of my Asiatic
Lilies.

This Asiatic Lily
has been with me for six years. Their blossoms make me very happy every year as
they last about three weeks.
I hope that
you'll enjoy these photos.
I really appreciate your
friendship and sharing your favorite photos on this photo club, Vivienne.
I look forward to seeing your next photos soon.
Until next time--
Have a
Blessed Week!
