Matthew 25:40 “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”(KJV)

When I think of all the burdens that some other people bear,

It humbles me dear Lord, when I think of my own care.

How often do I feel like my burdens are so great?

Others have such trial that they very seldom state.

Thank you Heavenly Father, that my trials and my cares

Can be cast upon Thy shoulders in my worship and my prayers.

Help me lift up others, whose burdens weigh them down,

For these simple acts of kindness will be rewarded with a crown.

That is not the reason we’re to give someone a hand.

It’s an example of the Savior when we try to help them stand.

His likeness we portray when we meet another’s need.

This surely should be part of our daily Christian creed.

So lift up someone’s spirit by your words and deeds and prayer.

Help them on their journey with the burdens that they bear.

Quit looking at your own cares, this is a vital key.

Simple deeds done for the Savior will last eternally.
