Hmmm, this will be short and sweet. While the kids were growing up they would always say dads got attitude. I guess I can safely say now that base is covered! LOL   That's it

Hi James and Victor,

I enjoy your posts.....changing from ATTITUDE to attitude is not easy.  I commend you (and your humor)!   lol

We are all looking for a new way, so let me share my favorite quote with you:

Thank You Jill for this forum.

This month I am celebrating four years of self-employment.  In this time of economic slow-down; my opportunity to expand my network has increased.

Just by actively participating on the LinkedIn site for less than three weeks; I was promoted as one of the managers of LinkedIn group Military Network; met the Exec Director of the Inspiring Alliance Wounded Warrior Program and am now actively volunteering to support an upcomming 22-state tour ( http://conversions-hot.blogspot.com/2009/01/journey-across-america-for-veterans.html )

I am on a mission to ask all who read this post to help by mailing the blog post to Your Family and Friends to inform in as many local cities as possible.

You do not have to be a Veteran to join the Military Network, this is an excellent network to obtain direct information about Veteran programs, health, transitioning, retirement, family support and more.  Interested visitors can join via the top-link in the blog post.

Good topic Jill.  I like the saying, "It's not what comes your way in life but how you respond to it that determines your outcome."  Another variation I think is, "You can't choose what comes your way but you can choose how to respond."  I believe in having a 'virtuous' Attitude vs. what Hollywood portrays "Attitude" as.  I think virtue reaps virtue in us and our life as do vices reap the same for us.  Honestly is a virtue and lying is it's vice for example. Just because someone approaches me with meanness or attacks me in some way, doesn't mean I have to or need to or want to respond in the same manner; it may depend on what I really want to reap in and for myself. If someone does something really rotten to me and I choose to hold on to Unforgiveness, for example, who will I hurt more, them or me?  If I didn't know the answer I could look up 'Post Traumatic Stress disorder in Wykipedia and scroll way down to where it talks about Unforgiveness being a cause or contributor to this disease!  Wow!  When I read this I thought: this is where science meets God!  Science just showed evidence that there is good reason to forgive our enemies or those who do all manner of evil against us.  How about that?   Glad to have come across you Jill and interesting forums.   Kim
