Thank you for this at this special time of year.
Adland is the best, whatever other communities have they are but a poor shadow of Adland.
EVERY community has a mix of people who reflect the larger world. In the larger world there are folk with big egos, big dreams, self esteem issues, hostility, loving and nuturing ways, negotiators, leaders............ need I go on?
Adland has members who represent a wide range of spiritual and religious beliefs, those who reject any thoughts of spirituality, those who hold differing political views, those who just don't care.............. need I go on?
Adland has a reserved approach to online business, business is welcome if it's not pushed in your face. Adland reflects the larger world IN ALL IT'S WONDER, WARTS AND ALL.
In amongst this microcosm of life there will be folk who GENUINELY need to be loved and understood who have a need to be noticed or listened to or who feel they need to be in charge. What's new? That's life.
THE GREAT THING IS there are those who having made a mistake, having been misunderstood or having been just plain insensitive STAND UP AND SAY SORRY.
This forum represents this sensible and reasonable Adland, the one we need.
Thank you for being beacons in the darkness.
Everything you say and ask for I applaud without reservation.
I JUST WISH TO ADD ONE THING.
There are VERY FEW BAD PEOPLE.
Most people who are "bad" have a problem.
We just need to try to understand some peoples' needs but if they continue to hurt people they need dealing with BY THE COMMUNITY (and that doesn't mean a few self-appointed folk).
Love and understanding costs nothing. Lets all spread some understanding.
Forgive and move on please.
