SAMIPLUS INSPIRATIONS AWARD – 2008

Hello my dear Adland friends, it feels like just yesterday that we celebrated the first year of Inspirations of Samiplus in this great community and wow, here we are already bestowing an additional year. Hurray!! We are two and we owe our survival and relevance to all of you. I therefore, wish to sincerely thank you all for standing by the forum these two years and for always taking time off your busy daily schedules to visit and actively participate in our forum discussions.

You remain our most wonderful and foremost Inspirations. And with your love, support and sincere demonstration of positive motivation, our passion for excellence is continuously rekindled.

INSPIRATIONS AWARD

Inspirations Award goes to members of the community who are outstanding in terms of their efforts in encouraging and motivating other members. Such activities are geared toward arousal of members’ mind and positively influencing them to self confidence, motivation and creativity thereby promoting a more beneficial use of the community’s forum facilities.

2008 RECIPIENT: Nick Sym++

Nick Sym has an uncanny way of reaching out to members and attracting their friendship easily. With a whooping 25826 posts (as at my last count) to his credit and more than 5000 friends, he is probably the most active and most consistent friend who sacrifices so much time to visit and post in most, if not all the community forums. By so doing, Nick has boosted the morale and interest of so many forum owners including ours. Nick Sym is also promoting Breast Cancer Awareness from his little town back in Canada; a project that brought him honor recently by his town’s local newspaper. Please permit me to present our 2008 INSPIRATIONS award to him.

ACCEPTANCE NOTE

I am positive about this community and our ability to exchange ideas, greetings and friendship. In the last several years, I have learned so much, but I have learned, most of all, that the people of this community are a sincere and caring people. We as a collective form a melting pot and when poured form the purest of gold.

First of all I would like to thank you for this surprising honor and say that I am an optimist.

PEDESTAL AWARD

Pedestal award is our forum’s special honor dedicated to members of the community who have consistently supported and encouraged our growth in some very special ways. The support can be expressed through consistent visit and useful post in our forum, advices and commendations, moral and financial assistance as well as laudable partnership projects. This award is reserved for participating members of our Forum only.

2008 RECIPIENT: Neil Sperling++

Neil Sperling has remains one of our forum’s strongest support and quite instrumental to our survival especially the very successful ARTICLE OF VIRTUE series. It was Judy Smith and Neil that provided all the assistance that facilitated the emergence of AOV and the eventual improvement of this forum.

Severally, I have knocked on Neil’s door for one aid or the other concerning the forum, even at very odd times, and he never fail to oblige. He has been a friend in need and in did. Please permit me to present our 2008 PEDESTAL award to him.

ACCEPTANCE NOTE

Personal growth is my main life ambition, both for myself as well as others. It is because I hold this belief that I love my Adland friends and enjoy the time I spend here at Adland, even when it is far less than I would desire.

I am honored to be chosen for this award and I wish for YOUR continued personal growth and may you have a life of fulfillment. Reach for the stars and dare to become the best that you can be.

Wow - What a surprise it was for me to get a PM from Sam, nominating me for the inspiration award. I've been so busy jumping through personal hoops all of 2008, my time here at Adland is far less than my desire. Thus I feel extra honored that I have been nominated for Sam's esteemed forum award.

VIRTUE AWARD

Virtue connotes any admirable quality or attribute shown by people. It is an exhibition of a particular moral excellence. Our Virtue Award is meant for those community members who exude great virtue through their activities in the community. This award is not limited to members of our forum alone but members whose activities in the community transcend race, gender, personal gains and selfish aggrandizement.  The good of fellow members are uppermost in their mind.

2008 RECIPIENT: Pauline Raina++

Pauline Raina is presented with our 2008 VIRTUE AWARD for being one of the virtuous, friendliest, highly inspiring and accommodating members of ALP. She has shown a great deal of inspiration, maturity, respect and understanding in her dealings with members, and her general activities in the community.

ACCEPTANCE NOTE

 Life is our best teacher and it has taught me well, and continues to do so. I am growing everyday to be the person my creator intended me to be. I am beyond blessed by the incredible friends I have met here and else where, through whom I have also learnt so much, and I look forward to long and stronger bonds of love and friendship for many many more years to come.

Sami & Team keep blessing  Adland with more creative forums. I thank you for this honor from the deepest corner of my heart!!!

First of all Sami & AOV Team, accept my hearty congratulations on your 2nd anniversary of this wonderful & enriching forum I am extremely proud to be part of in one way or the other.

The Virtue Award has humbled me greatly and I cannot express my feelings right now, words don’t seem to do justice to how I think or feel today and for a long time to come. Needless to say you have more than made my day!

FOOTPRINT AWARD

As the name implies, the award is meant for those people who have made some positive and indelible mark on the sands of time. Such marks are intended for the general good of and benefits to humanity as well as the restoration and preservation of our world. We will try to limit recipients to our ALP community, but where the need arises, we might go over the shores of our community for the award winners.

2008 RECIPIENT: William Vanderbilt++

The promoter and initiator of the United Advocacy for Autism, William “BillDaddy” Vanderbilt, is specially selected as the 2008 recipient of the FOOTPRINT Award of Inspirations of Samiplus forum. Bill Daddy has been devotedly involved in the public sensitization and advocacy work on Autism children and toxic mould, a selfless project that should be lauded by every concerned person. I believe that William’s work, if supported can help, as well as save thousands of children living and yet unborn.

ACCEPTANCE NOTE

I look forward to your future presentations here in Adlandpro and also in your other publications. Sharing information is the key to understanding, and all of your work has contributed greatly to our quest for knowledge. Thank You Sam, for all that you do and for all that I know you will continue to do in the future.

    I would also like to thank everyone else who has been a part of Sam's Inspiration forum. I have learned a lot from all of the articles published here and I look forward to sharing more information with all of you in the future.
