Can I ask you the average cold temperature in North Dakota winters?  My sister and her husband are moving there soon, to the north border right under Manitoba.  I know it's a big state, what part are you in?  My dad and his family are from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Slightly warmer, slightly more populated.
