To Sam and crew,
Thank you again for a wonderful article delivered in such an appealing fashion.
Neil your intro hit the mark. Pauline displays all those quaitlites in all she does. I have had the wonderful opportunity to get to know her very well over the last few months.
Jill as gracious sponsor, your words to strike home. How many of us have heard that old saying 'Silence is Golden" . I all ways thought it was just a way to shut me up. Obviously the meaning has aberrated with use.
Pauline,
Your article is a service to all of us who wish to improve ourselves, and provide a better atmosphere to those who come in contact with us. I will definately use your title like a mantra. When angry be silent.
Your article arrives at a very timely moment in my life. Through meditation, something I have been doing an hour a day now for at least 2 months, I have been making discoveries about myself I would never have suspected. Recently I came face to face with a vast oily pool of anger within me. Now most people who know me personally would never suspect that such a thing exists within me. But I do. Since I discovered that "pool of anger" and since I haven't completely work through or understood why it is there, that anger is much nearer the surface than it use to be. Which is a good and a bad thing. Good because I am conscious of it, and bad because at the moment I am aliitle more explosive than people are use to. (Most people think I'm a teddy bear.)
Just yesterday I could have put that mantra to very good use, instead I now have to eat my words.
So as you can see I have a special thank you to you, for your wonderful article.
Okay , now, count to ten, deep breath, now silence.
Have a beautiful summer morning,
Nick
