Certainly makes sense to me, considering that the body is 70% water.
The sobering thing is that by the time you feel dehydrated, you are already in trouble. So, drink lots of good, pure water. Make it a habit, your body will begin to crave it, and tell you when you are not drinking enough. Rule of thumb: take your body weight, divide in half, and drink that # in ounces.
