CHRIST  OUR  GOOD  SHEPHERD

How’s the “Good Shepherd” a good shepherd to me?

He guides and provides to eternity.

I shall not want for He doth fully supply.

The shadows of death shall not terrify.

I’m not alone for He’s always is near.

There is no reason ever to fear.

Though stalked by Satan, who seeks to devour,

I am delivered by my Shepherd’s power.

When lost from the flock, He sought for my soul.

He sought me and brought me safe to His fold.

He’s the Good Shepherd, He loveth His own.

He gave up His life and now sits on God’s throne.

He knoweth my name and calleth me home.

There is no reason why I should e’er roam.

Christ’s my Good Shepherd and I am His Lamb.

Forever I’m held safe in His hand.
