What a nice surprise. Actually you do a much better job of making it to all the forums than I. I see you everywhere. Like you, I often arrive later than some and enjoy reading all the comments.
The garden scene is much different now from when I wrote the article. Last Saturday we had the final work party of the year and it was spent putting things to rest for the winter and adding more wood chips to the paths so they wouldn't become mud flats during the rains.
Today we are promised some sunshine and I'm going up to turn over soil in the part of the garden that isn't planted with kale, beets and mustard greens for the cooler months. Might even plant some garlic for greens in the spring.
And yes, there is that dirt under the finger nails.
