How To Get More Gas Mileage
7/15/2008 5:06:26 AM

Did you know that running your tires low on are can cost you as much as 25% of your gas mileage? So put nigrogen in your tires (inert gas) much safer than compressed air.  www.getnitrogen.org I put nitrogen in my tures for $2.50 per tire and they add nitrogen free for the life of the tires.

If you add a small amount of hydrogen (brown's gas or HHO) to gas it burns clean and you can improve fuel mileage (gas or diesel) by as much as 100%.  http://www.MPGdoubled.com you can make a safe system from parts available at your local Home Deopt or order off the Internet.  This is a simple high school science class type project.  We can all benefit from cutting fuel costs with free HHO fuel that is 3 times more efficient/powerful than gas.

Use 100% synthetic oil, http://www.ExtremeDutyOil.com has round molecules so it reduces friction, handles extreme heat around 500 degrees and cold to 55 below zero F.  I got 20% more MPG and I use 80% less oil. Find out more - get a free catalog too, just click on the picture of the catalog.

Slow down a little and drive the speed limits. You will get there just as fast and you will do it safely and safe fuel.

Fill up in the cool of the monings, fuel is denser then and you get more for you money.

Fill up slow, less air gets into the gas and you get more.

Check and Replace your air filter clean often as needed... usually every 10,000 to 20,000 miles. I change mine once a year.

Replace spark plugs as recommended or evan a little ahead of schedule and save on fuel.  New technology spark plugs - http://www.pulstarplug.com/aboutus.html Check out the demo, it's amazing!

Old worn out spark plugs will cost you big.

Shop for the cheapest gas stations.  I save at least 10 cents a gallon by shopping around. Find the cheapest fuel in your area by surfing the Internet.

Wal-Mart and some credit cards give you a rebate for buying gas on their cards. But beware some gas stations charge you more for using a credit card.  I'm very careful and always check.

Everytime you save on something you put money back into your pocket.  I always change my own oil, oil filter and air filter.

Consolidate your trips for the week into one trip.

Ride-share and split the gas cost going to work.

Ride a bicycle or walk to the store a couple times a week instead of driving. Every mile you don't drive saves you money.

When you buy another car consider getting a fuel efficient car...

Plug in hybrids allow you to drive free for the first 40 to 50 miles on electric.  So 80% of all driving can be done without gas! Educate yourself!

Thanks for the driving tips.
I often drive on back roads that are paved.  You can drive slower here as there is less traffic.  Another thing I have noticed is that there is shade from the trees on these roads making it cooler.
