Is Geothermal Energy a Viable Alternative Energy Source?
4/27/2008 7:48:27 AM

Well, it looks like it might be.  I intend to do a little more research and put out a couple of article specifically devoted to geothermal energy

However, in the meantime there is a brief discussion of the subject at http://lube2005.com/information/geothermal_energy.html .

I think sometimes these people are trying to find a single source of energy that will power the whole world or let's say an entire country and I don't think that will happen.

What they should be doing is looking to see which method will best fit a particular area and use it. Simply put, taking an entire small town off the main grid could really save millions in the long run.

I agree.  There is no single solution.  What we need is to attack the problem from as many angles..and in as many places...as possible.  You are right about taking a town off the grid.

Thanks for the input.
