Monday Morning Mood
Another weekend in the past, we have used up more time, vigorously trying to make it last, acting as though we are blind.
Monday morning rolls around, forcing us to face reality, as our feet unwillingly hit the ground, we march on to our work facility.
The sound of others moving about, helps us to feel as though it is okay, to be here, again, with fading doubt, allowing our weekend memories to decay.
We greet each other with stuttering smiles, wondering if the other's is sincere, knowing that it will take a while, for all of us to accept that we are here.
Here we are on this day of new sunshine, waking up from our slumber... using might, to help each other know that it will be fine, by turning on our smiley faces so bright!

I think I may, I think I might...
It is said to be our imagination, when we have thoughts of vision. Why, I say that is an abomination, and will continue as though it is wisdom.
I like to think about things grandeur, stretching my dreams beyond my reach knowing that I shall not have to wonder that reality and they soon shall meet.
I wish that everyone would only ask what it is of their world they perceive and realize dreaming is the most important task, in order for wishes to be achieved.
I think I may, I think I might Have my thoughts come true. I will look into the sky tonight, and search for the milky way's clue.

Memories of a Tree
Once upon a time... In the forest where I once trekked, I found a seedling of a pine Whose roots were being set.
Once upon a time... In the forest where I found my wife, I found a sapling of pine Who was reaching for the sky.
Once upon a time... In the forest where my family plays, I found a tall tree of pine With branches providing shade.
Once upon a time... In the forest where I sit with my love, I found a towering tree of pine Who was shielding the seedlings from above.
Once upon a time... In the forest where I go to rest, I found an aging tree of pine Whose branches were full of nests.
Once upon a time... In the forest of which I dream, I imagined a seedling of pine Whose little needles... oh so pleasantly green.

Winner's Path
While on our journey with our packs, We met some lads with a knack. We showed them the best path to go, But they all said... "Not me, oh No!". They went their way, as do some, While we continued searching for another one.
Wandering intentionally from here to there, Prospecting for gems... so rare. Envisioning how, one by one, they will glimmer, Oh the excitement to find a winner! No matter who or where they are, Follow the path... it won't be far.
This path, trodden by only dreamers, Teaches everyone to be believers. Shouldering their packs of knowledge, Confidently approaching every cottage. Seeking to make their dreams come true, Marching on looking for another 'who'.
Alas! One has been found, Lying resting on the ground. Or... might even be busy as a bee, But that won't stop me! Anyone... anywhere... anyhow, When they see the plan... kapow!

Re: Read between the lines Posted: Mar 07 2008 07:48 AM |
This one I wrote right after my 40th birthday. I don't know why, but time was on my mind. What Time Is
I woke up this morning with this thought on my mind, How is time really defined?
I scientifically recalled how microseconds increment Until thousands of them create the second event. And then when 5 dozen seconds gather together into a single unit, Out pops, yet another scurrying minute! The gathering of these minutes is the real power, They allow us to know when we've reached the next hour. We don't all count the hours the same way, But after twenty-four or two sets of twelve, it is the same next day.
Seven times we wake up, pitter patter about, and then back to sleep, Vaguely aware that here just passed yet another week. Suddenly, so it seems, we are buried with bills and letters of 'want', Isn't it about time for some fun we plead?... It's the end of the month! Then after twelve of these enduring episodes we hear, "Happy Birthday!"... to your age, go ahead... add another year. The first 18 or so are filled with the primary things we must learn, Not being very content, anxiously... it is the next 18 that we yearn.
The next 20 or so pass with the tribulations and fury leaving us uninspired, Finding that it is the previous 30 we still desire. After the meditating trance of conclusion that we should be content, To us, a pictorial card with "Over the hill" is sent. We reflect how we climbed that hill with all our might, Only to find that in mid-afternoon, we say, <yawn> "Good night".
Scientifically speaking mind you, I would have to conclude, That time can only be explained, not by seconds, minutes, or even hours, but rather entirely in review.
Nobody cares what definition of time will give, Once they learn that it is more precious to know what time is.
