I discovered that resolution is just a formal expression by self or meeting agreed by vote. No wonder people can easily repeat it every time without any feeling of guilt. Instead of making New Year resolution, make this year 2007, a year of conclusion. Yes, because conclusion is a position or opinion or judgment reached after all considerations and resolutions. Consider, resolve, decide and conclude this year! It's hard to believe, but 2006 has come gone.
With Christmas and New Year day both on Monday (working day), my projection is that the year 2007 is opening as a Working Year and so unfolding its call for hardwork. People, businesses and organizations should be ready to work harder for copious achievement.
This first month, though the month to usher in and celebrate the New Year is also our last chance to review the old year and plan the year ahead. I strongly urge every one of us to take some time - at least few hours - to ask some personal questions, jot some notes, make some new choices and arrive at the final conclusion.
Here's how to go about this:
1. Appraise the Past (2006)
2. Plan the present and future (2007)
3. Design a workable scheme
4. Pray & solicit for God's favour.
Happy New Year to you all.
