No Wal-mart in Eagle River, Wisconsin. The best we can do is a Pamida, Ace Hardware and a Family Dollar. My wife drives 30 minutes to the nearest one in Rhinelander when she goes. They also closed down K-mart in Rhinelander which is where she would rather go.
My wife goes there sometimes for things she can get locally. It drives me crazy. She says it costs less to buy there. I say it costs more to drive there. She probably just wants to get out of the house, but she can do that by shopping locally and riding her bike.
