Sam

Interesting topic -

I've read many books about success.... think and grow rich was one of them.

The desire to please another..... is what I think is the answer you are seeking. Lincoln as an example wanted to please his mother..... other biographies and auto biographies a man wanted to show his father up.... or attain at least what his father had done.

Personally I think motivation comes from one of two places.... either we are motivated to achieve some kind of pleasure - or we are motivated to avoid pain.

If a man does things to please a woman - then he is actually motivated by pleasure. ..... if however the woman was a nagging pain in his back side then he would be motivated to avoid pain.....

Passion is another topic...... passion comes from within. When you have found your "WHY", to do something..... and your why is BIG enough..... you will do what it takes.  Your why may be to attain pleasure... or it may be to avoid pain..... but your WHY has to be HUGE in order to truly develop passion.

To be totally passionate.... you will develop your committment to the "third level of committment."

Interesting topic.... Thanks Sam.

Neil

Hello Uncle Tom,

If the woman is the ruler of companionship, then she might as well be the chief influence on the man's push to succeed and get wealthy. She's equiped with so much natural asenals, you've mentioned care giving and smartness, that she can deploy them whenever she deems fit in order to influence her man.

Maybe Napoleon Hill is close to 100% right!!

Thanks a million for contributing and have a nice day.

Hi Sam,

thanks for the invite here, interesting question this !!

Well, first I will answer it from a Christian perspective, I will go by the Proverbs 31:10 woman, there we see her doing her best in everything so that her husband and children are proud of her, that is her reward!  In Gensis we see that God created woman for man as a helpmate. That then explains the role of woman in a mans life!

To me that is the devine order God intended for man, but with the hardening of mans heart thru sin, it is reversed today...how ever logical one may try to argue....Gods's order is the only one that will work and bring about a peace and tranquility to life.

I will have to agree with Neil here, that its the motivational factor that plays a major roll.  Some men get motivated by different factors.  What motivates a man ?? is the question. I believe it does take 2 hands to clap, so crediting the success of a man only to the woman behind him is not fair to the man, cos' he too has worked for it....to me the man woman relationship, be it  in success or failure...are 2 halves of a whole...each are equally responsible!!!

Blessings to  you all

Pauline R

Hi Neil,

I must confess you're a wonderful writer with a passion to satisfy your audience. You've made an outstanding and clearer analysis of this whole topic and I am so, so please to have you in  the forum.

I have no other alternative than to agree with you that motivation comes from one of two places.... either we are motivated to achieve some kind of pleasure - or we are motivated to avoid pain.

Thank you Neil and keep visiting!!

Hi Pauline,

Yes, the Bible also decribes the woman as the crown of the husband. In all, we can say that in todays world the man needs his woman/ wife to succeed just like the woman needs his man to stand. Depending on the man's mode of desire, and state of mind, the issue of influence can be coined out accordingly. Neil has rightly made a clear explanation to this.

Thank you queen Pauline, I am grateful for your contribution.
God bless you.
